Ping of death explained

Ping of Death (PoD) is a type of network attack where a cyber criminal sends a network packet that is larger than what the victim’s device can handle. That forces the device to crash or freeze or break its service down completely. Ping of death often makes a computer system unstable by intentionally shipping more extensive ping packets to the victim system over an IPv4 network.
